Flash Projects
Adobe Flash was one of the first web development tools that I ever used and thus, it holds a special place in my designs. Here are a few pieces that I have created over the years using the interactive platform.
My first portfolio
This is the design that I had previously used for my portfolio. It was designed completely in Flash and had full functionality to bring together my portfolio pieces, services, contact forms and much more.
Match Play Golf Tournament
The WGC/Accenture Match Play event is held just north of Tucson. For this event, a team - led by Arizona Daily Star Kori Rumore - designed an interactive graphic for the event including videos, audio and maps of the course.
The Hess Wedding
This creation was one that was truly close to my heart and was finished rather quickly thanks to that inspiration. It was created to give people from out of town, information about my wedding. Hotels, registry and more.
Website Designs
Web design has been a passion for me since the days that I first learned about how to write HTML code - I was 13. Since then, I have taken advantage of every opportunity to better myself in this field. Here are a few examples of what I have done with HTML/CSS.
Newsletter preview for the Arizona Daily Star (HTML/CSS)
This page was requested by the Arizona Daily Star with an image in mind of giving people an advanced look at what they should expect to receive when they sign up for the automated newsletter service.
My new portfolio page (HTML/CSS/JAVA)
You don't need much explaining here! This is the page that you are currently on. My portfolio is here to showcase my abilities as well as give you the platform to contact me and know what to expect when you do so.
Ad Creations
I have been tasked to create a great number of attractive and informative ads recently - in many different sizes - below is a view of some of the ads I have built, and will build for business anywhere. Click on the thumbnail under each size to see more from the collection.
Video Shoots
Shooting video is an extension of design. You still have the same variables and task of making the product look pleasant, but you also have factors that are outside of your control: weather, other subjects, lighting and much more. It is for this reason that a lot of other designers are only designers. I, however, am an online developer that can - and will - do what it takes to make my clients happy. If that includes video, I am more than qualified.
Battle of the Bands
This was a high-intensity video shoot that involved nearly a dozen local high school bands, a vast production schedule, multiple cameras and sound difficulties. The piece was brought together by a couple of team members and shows off the talents of all involved.
American Idol
The auditions in Glendale, Ariz. for American Idol was trying in any number of ways. The lighting was constantly changing, the day started well before the sun came up and there were thousands of people there. In the end, the shoot came together nicely and an attractive product was put out.
StarNet Gridiron
My work with local high school football videos is perhaps what I was best known for at the Arizona Daily Star. The videos were produced weekly and consistantly put out the highest quality possibility. I shot, edited, voiced over and compressed each video. These were my babies.
Arizona Basketball
The annual Red-Blue game at the University of Arizona gave me an opportunity to try some different angles on the stale old basketball highlights video. Throughout my time at the Star, I was constantly tasked with finding new ways to produce videos in order to keep them interesting. This is just another example of that.
