Who I Am
So you want to know more about me eh? Ok then... Here we go.
I am an online everything designer, currently based out of Tucson, Ariz. Where I work for a large website for a large news corporation (that narrows it down!)
When I started out doing online work, it was a brave new world, a world that contained a whole helluva lot of strange languages and challenging starting points. In short, I know exactly where a lot of people - who are thinking about web design for the first time - are, because I have been there myself.
I have a degree in mass communications and journalism from Arizona State University and have been doing online production and creating eye catching (and award winning) designs for three years.
What I do
My journey in to online design started with a brief knowledge of Macromedia Flash (now Adobe Flash - see how long it has been?) and ballooned from there.
Obviously, my knowledge in Adobe Flash has grown exponentially since then, but also included in my ever expanding skillset is a host of other abilities: PSD to HTML conversion, web design from the ground up, Flash interactive sites, ad design and much, much more.
If you want to see more of my work before contacting me, go and take a look at my portfolio.
What they say
"Eric does excellent work, is fast, efficient, and thorough. I had 2 problems on my business website that needed attending to in a timely manner. Everything was resolved over the course of a weekend. I was amazed and have already recommended him to another company that I work with. The bottom line: Eric got the job done quick, kept in touch the whole way, and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with the work."
M.J. Iggena
Desert Core LLC
"Eric is not only extraordinarily tech-savvy but patiently explains and offers help without prompting. He's self-motivated, too. I worked with him at the Arizona Daily Star while I was the medical reporter when he was our online content producer. Eric was consistently professional, adept and responsible, and always helpful to reporters in building databases, posting documents online and ensuring our stories had easily-accessible multimedia components."
Stephanie Innes
Arizona Daily Star
"Eric was a great mentor to me during my apprenticeship at The Arizona Daily Star. He efficiently showed me the ropes, allowing me to eventually produce the online version of the paper for Saturday pretty much on my own. I learned a great deal about multimedia reporting, web development basics and video editing under his supervision. I remember his work on Flash projects at AZStarNet.com and how they offered great interactive content for the site."
